SERVICES
As a professional editor, I edit scientific documents for language every day. Like your expertise is your research, mine is the language you use to explain that research.
I specialize in three services:
- Scientific Editing*: For biomedical authors who wish to polish their journal articles, grant proposals, and slides/posters before submission. I offer three types of editing: Standard, Plus, and Premium. Each service can be customized to your project needs.
- Medical Writing: For biomedical authors and healthcare professionals who wish to communicate health information to diverse audiences. Some documents I write include study reports, meeting summaries, conference reports, patient education materials, consumer health articles, blog posts, and marketing materials (email and website copy).
- Media Consulting: For scientists who wish to share their research more effectively with the public. I offer three types of consulting: public speaking training, social media strategy, and public relations support.
*I offer dissertation editing for graduate-level students only with the permission from the student’s adviser. Typically, this will include specific parameters for editing (e.g., noting style guide inconsistencies by comments instead of fixing them with Tracked Changes).
In my work, I use the following style guides:

American Medical Association (AMA) Manual of Style | Council of Science Editors (CSE) Style Manual | Chicago Manual of Style (CMoS) | American Psychological Association (APA) Style |
